Accessibility statement

Accessibility statement

We make every effort to ensure that our website complies with the Federal Act on Barrier-free Access to Federal Websites and Mobile Applications (Web Accessibility Act – WZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019 as amended, to be made accessible without barriers. This accessibility statement applies to anwert.io

Status of compatibility with the requirements

Due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions, this website is partially compatible with conformance level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” or with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03).

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not barrier-free for the following reasons:
  • The translation menu in the main navigation has no comprehensible name and applies the role=”menubar” incorrectly (WCAG 4.1.2. Name, Role, Value and 1.3.1. Info and Relationships). An alternative is being worked on.
  • The feedback slider on the start page is played automatically and does not provide any stop functionality (WCAG 2.2.2 Pause, Stop, Hide). An alternative implementation is being worked on.
  • The text fields in the contact form use native browser validation for the validation of mandatory fields. This is not resolved by all browsers and assistive technologies. An alternative implementation is being worked on.

Feedback and contact details

If you have any questions, requests, suggestions or complaints, you can use our contact form or write to us directly by e-mail at hello@anwert.io.

Enforcement Proceedings

If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the above contact option, you can submit a complaint to the complaints office of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). The FFG accepts complaints electronically via the contact form of the complaints office. The complaints are reviewed by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the requirements of the Web Accessibility Act, particularly deficiencies in compliance with accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an entity attributable to it. If the complaint is justified, the FFG shall issue recommendations for action to the Federal Government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies at hand. Preparation of the accessibility statement
