As with EPS, the company FAMUTEC has commissioned us to renew their website. For the website development the new style guide was used and based on it everything was completely rebuilt – from frontend to backend incl. Hosting.
Challenge
The challenge was this,
- Create a setup where content can be managed quite easily – theoretically even by non-technical people,
- consistently adapt the content to the style guide,
- make the website responsive, i.e. for mobile, tablet and desktop, and
- migrate the still relevant content (several products and subpages) from the old website to the new one.
Solution approach
Once the rebranding was captured in the style guide, we were able to move on to the next step in the project plan: website development.
In order to be able to customize the content as flexibly as possible and make it easy to maintain, we decided to design the site with WordPress. In addition, the Elementor plugin makes it easy to adapt the content to the style guide and keep it consistent.
The mobile-first rule was also taken into account. Thanks to a responsive web design, the website remains true to the style guide throughout – consistently on all devices, whether mobile, tablet or desktop.
The content of the old website had to be screened, sorted out and revised together with the management of FAMUTEC. In close consultation, the content was then implemented on the new website. Any images, logos and videos were adapted to the technical requirements for a smooth page loading time.
Result
The result is a trustworthy, secure website that reflects FAMUTEC’s values, mission and vision. At the same time, the website can be easily managed and is consistent in its appearance for mobile, tablet and desktop.
