Drinking water – anything but ordinary

Drinking water in Austria is a matter of course. Too self-evident. Hardly anyone questions what comes out of the tap every day – but behind it is a system that deserves everything except indifference.

Our drinking water changes that. The platform of the Austrian Association for Gas and Water (ÖVGW) turns invisible infrastructure into a topic that really interests people: Where does water come from? How good is it? Who will make sure that it stays that way? Clear answers – without technical jargon, but with real substance.

That was the mission. And the bar. We conceived, designed and implemented the website – from the information architecture to the design and technical implementation. The goal: to prepare complex relationships around origin, quality, supply and climate change in such a way that they really reach people. Understandably structured, visually clear and barrier-free accessible.

The result: a platform that informs without lecturing – and creates trust because it provides transparency .
